Kruger National Park - First Sights

My first day consisted of quickly unpacking and an afternoon drive.


My abode.



Where there are cars gathered, there is usually an animal to see! We followed this ambling guy for quite a while. I learned that their manes get darker the older they are. He never looked behind... just kept walking at his own pace creating quite the traffic jam.



White rhinos. I love the light in this picture - we were nearing our drive's end.

They are hard to see, but lots of hippos are relaxing under the tree.
